“Some Things We Do”, Swans.

RETRATO DE UN MONSTRUO (edición 0) es un tríptico de cuerpos sin cuerpos, de hombres-bicho que se mueven en una jungla de sonidos, objetos y otros seres que se atraviesan sin contrato, sin acuerdo, donde hay una tensión constante entre ser un cuerpo, tener un cuerpo e inventar un cuerpo. En esta obra estamos trabajando con la convivencia opaca entre los performers, la escenografía, la luz y el sonido. Cada uno de estos elementos tiene una lógica propia, cohabita con los otros sin armonía, desde sus diferencias.

Creación, asistencia de dirección y dramaturgia: Paula Giuria.

Este proyecto fue realizado en residencia en CASARRODANTE (Montevideo), GRANER, en el contexto del proyecto Interpolación financiado por IBERESCENA (Barcelona), WIESENBURG (Berlín) y en el CCE/ CENTRO CULTURAL de ESPAÑA del Uruguay.

Fue seleccionado por el INAE en la convocatoria 2014 para hacer una laboratorio de investigación cerrada. Y cuenta también con el apoyo del espacio JEXE.

“Some Things We Do”, Swans.

RETRATO DE UN MONSTRUO.0 is a triptych of bodies without bodies, of bug-men moving in a jungle of sounds, objects and other beings that cross without contract, without agreement; where there is a constant tension between being a body, having a body and inventing a body. In this work we are working with the opaque coexistence among performers, set design, light and sound. Each of these elements have its own logic, it cohabits with the others without harmony, from their differences.
